Where to Park in San Diego’s Little Italy | Your Parking Guide

San Diego’s Little Italy attracts thousands daily to explore the neighborhood’s attractions and local businesses—from authentic Italian restaurants and boutiques to popular galleries, breweries, wineries and more! In an effort to make it easier for locals and visitors to explore the 48-square-block community, the Little Italy Association of San Diego has been working to create efficient parking solutions. In addition to finding street parking and taking a ride share service to visit the thriving neighborhood, there are valet options and self-parking garages available.

Check out all the places you can find parking in San Diego’s Little Italy below:

  • Parking is a breeze with Little Italy’s Valet Parking. Rated at $12 a vehicle, this is one of many options that will help visitors. Valet parking is available every day of the week beginning at 5:30 p.m. in different locations throughout Little Italy spots at the following places:

Mondays – Wednesdays

  • India & W. Fir Street presented by Bencotto, Monello and Civico 1845
  • Kettner & W. Ivy presented by Herb & Wood

Thursdays – Sundays

  • Kettner & W. Fir presented by Café Gratitude
  • India & W. Cedar Streets
  • India & W. Date Streets
  • India & W. Fir Streets
  • India & W. Ivy presented by Ballast Point Tasting Room & Kitchen
  • Kettner & W. Ivy presented by Herb & Wood

Not into the valet options? Don’t fret! There are multiple self-parking garages in the community:

  • 610 W. Ash Street is an interior parking garage, charging $5 per vehicle Mondays through Fridays from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., and all day on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Piazza Della Famiglia Underground Parking, located on Columbia Street, offers hourly rates, with a minimum of 2-hour parking for vehicles. Overnight parking is allowed, and access can be gained after hours with an active parking ticket. Daily rates may fluctuate:
    • 15 hours - $30 - $32
    • 12 hours - $24 - $26
    • 8 hours - $18 - $25
    • 4 hours - $14 – $20
    • 2 hours - $10 - $15
  • County of San Diego Parking Structure, located on 1536 Kettner Boulevard, also has a parking structure available for visitors and residents. This structure offers a rate of $10 per vehicle. The parking structure is open Mondays through Fridays from 5 p.m. to midnight and on the weekend from 6 a.m. to midnight. For special events, rates will increase between $20-$25 a vehicle. This structure does not provide overnight parking.
