San Diego Firehouse Museum

Over 100 years ago, Old Fire Station 6 was built in San Diego’s Little Italy—today, the historic site is home to the San Diego Firehouse Museum. Inside of the museum, visitors will see firefighting equipment and memorabilia dating back to the late 1800s. Some of the highlights include La Jolla’s very first fire engine, a horse-drawn steamer and a piece of steel from the World Trade Center. Firefighting’s rich tradition and heritage live on in the San Diego Firehouse Museum.
