Celebrate Little Italy’s Annual State of the Neighborhood on Thursday, September 26th!

Prepare for a special evening in one of San Diego’s premier neighborhoods as the entire community gathers for Little Italy’s Annual State of the Neighborhood. Taking place on Thursday, September 26 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the beautiful 10,000 square foot Piazza della Famiglia, this event provides the perfect opportunity for neighbors to socialize amongst each other and learn about the past, present and future of San Diego’s Little Italy.
Hosted by the Little Italy Association, this event will feature a presentation led by the Little Italy Association’s chief executive administrator, Marco Li Mandri. This presentation will revisit Little Italy’s rich and historic past as well as inform the public about events for the rest of the year and upcoming projects and initiatives. This presentation will begin promptly at 7:15 a.m.
Seating in the area will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, so guests are encouraged to arrive early for a guaranteed seat. Attendees are welcome to roam around the Little Italy neighborhood beforehand to pick up food, snacks and beverages and bring them to the event. Visit any of the surrounding award-winning restaurants for an early evening dinner prior to the presentation or grab a glass of wine or beer from the Little Italy Food Hall to enjoy during the presentation in the Piazza della Famiglia.
Attendance for the event is free, however there is an available option to purchase a $45 VIP ticket. Ticket holders will be granted a reserved seat for the presentation and include other exclusive benefits such a delicious offering from a Little Italy Food Vendor, a choice of red or white wine and a pre-selected dessert from Bobboi Natural Gelato.
