Come enjoy a movie at annual Summer Film Festival in Little Italy presented by Cinema Little Italy.  The Summer Film Festival 2024 screenings are on the first Saturday night of the month and summer holiday Saturdays at the San Diego Firehouse Museum Theater (corner of Cedar and Columbia). These amazing Italian films, complete with English subtitles, will make you feel like you're in Italy for the night.

The location is near all of Little Italy’s restaurants and bars, so enjoy dinner or drinks before or after the movie.  

We present a movie on the first Saturday of the month and on summer holiday Saturdays:

May 4th

Tutto Quello Che Vuoi / FRIENDS BY CHANCE
We open with a comedy/drama about the unlikely friendship between a 22- year-old scoundrel and a
85-year-old poet revealing hints to long lost treasure.

May 25th

The traitor / Il Traditore
The real life-story of Tommaso Buscetta the first mafia informant to betray his eternal vow of omerta' to
the Cosa Nostra.

June 1st

Caesar Must Die
Then we are treated to Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar inspired Caesar Must Die performed by a cast
members that return to their cells after the performance—all inmates of Rome’s Rebibbia prison.

July 6th

Ennio
Now comes pure joy with Ennio a work of art paying tribute to the legendary film composer Ennio
Morricone a great artist and humble man.

August 3rd

L’Immensita
A family story of love between a mother in a dismal and her three children. She finds refuge from
her loneliness in the shelter of her special relationships with her three children.

August 31st

Zamora
We close with a football, i.e., soccer, comedy with a message.
You are called a Zamora, in Italy if your play is great or awful, after. It is an edifying story about
]learning to be respected and brave.
