08/30-09/01, Sat.-Mon. - Labor Day Weekend Stickball West-coast Invitational Tournament
Come and watch the streets of Little Italy come alive with the good ol' American (East Coast) past-time: STICKBALL. Every year local teams come together to play for the right to call themselves the king of the block. The champions! Come and enjoy the taunting, heckling and good ol' fun on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00am to 6:00pm on Columbia Street, between Beech and Cedar Streets, and State Street, between Ash and Beech Streets. This event was made possible by the Little Italy Association of San Diego. For more information, please call Stickball Willie at 858-279-1924. This year's tournament is an invitational for teams from New York and Puerto Rico to attend. It's sure to be an exhilarating game.

10/22, Sun. - Our Lady of the Rosary Madonna del Lume Procession
Come watch parishioners of Our Lady of the Rosary Parish Hall march from the Church, down India Street, to the San Diego Harbor with the statue of the Madonna hoisted on their shoulders. This event has been going on since the early 50's, when the parishioners would march down and bless the Tuna Boats. So join us in a small part of Little Italy history. Event time to be announced.

10/31, Fri. - 2nd Annual Trick-or-Treat on India Street
Little Italy businesses are opening their doors for the little ghouls and goblins of the Downtown neighborhoods to come Trick-or-Treat from 5:30pm to 7:30pm. This fun-filled family event allows children to experience Trick-or-Treating in an safe and urban environment. Just because children grow up in the City doesn't mean they shouldn't enjoy the fun of dressing-up and getting candy. There will also be a Halloween costume competition for the kids (10 and under) at the Piazza Basilone at 6:30pm.

ArtWalk presents the San Diego/Tijuana region's biggest art event for an audience of over 90,000. This free visual and performing art celebration is set along a scenic path through the charming neighborhood of Little Italy. TBD - 9th Annual Little Italy State of the Neighborhood Dinner

The Little Italy Association is proud to present, for its ninth year, the Little Italy Annual State of the Neighborhood Dinner Reception. On this evening, we will open our “doors” to Little Italy family and friends to recap the past, present and future of San Diego’s Little Italy. A presentation will be given while our guests dine and bid on silent auction items all donated by Little Italy restaurants and boutiques. We are showcasing the successful urban neighborhood we have all worked so hard to create, by holding it in an open-air venue on the rooftop of Nelson Photo Supplies (1909 India Street - Access from Fir Street) from 6:00pm to 8:30pm.
